Overview And Experience
Dr. Tarek Mohammad Ali Al-Nahhas is a Syrian legal scholar and attorney specializing in Public Law with a focus on Administrative Law. He holds a Ph.D. in Public Law from Cairo University (2016) with distinction, where his doctoral research examined judicial approaches to the conditions of annulment lawsuits in Syrian, Egyptian, and French law.
Dr. Al-Nahhas has been a member of the Damascus Bar Association since 2009 and has built an extensive academic career at several Syrian public and private universities. He currently serves as Head of the Public Law Department at the Faculty of Law, University of Homs, where he was previously Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs (2019–2022) and Head of the Department of Law (2024–2025).
His academic interests include administrative justice, constitutional law, educational quality, and institutional performance standards. He has published multiple studies and articles in recognized legal journals, notably addressing the evolution of administrative decisions, sovereign acts, and the adaptation of administrative rulings to changing circumstances.
